Why three Dermafill® products while competitors present many more?
We choose quality over quantity. The high technical performance of our three products is largely sufficient to treat all areas of the face and satisfy patients.
How long does Manificare® mesotherapy treatment last?
This is a superficial treatment that lasts approximately three weeks. It is recommended to perform it three times a year, but depending on the patients, it may be useful to practice it more regularly. The three treatment sessions will provide an effect lasting up to 4 months.
How to make Dermafill® hyaluronic acid gel durable with only 1% modification?
All Dermafill® dermal fillers are based on bio-fermented hyaluronic acid (HA) where the natural intertwined form of the HA molecular strands is preserved. Therefore, only a minimal number of cross-links is required to produce durable gels.
What does high purity level mean in Dermafill® dermal fillers?
We consider a dermal filler to be pure if it contains minimal quantities of synthetic additives.
The X-LAB technology uses the natural intertwined form of the hyaluronic acid molecule (HA). This means that only minimal quantities of the cross-linking agent BDDE are added to create durable gels. Less than 1% of the hyaluronic acid molecule is modified in Dermafill® fillers, making this range one of the purest and healthiest for the skin.
Monophasic or biphasic gel?
Injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) exists in two main forms: monophasic and biphasic, each with specific properties and indications.
Dermafill® gels are biphasic and composed of two phases: free gel and cross-linked particles.
Advantages:
✔ Excellent volumizing and lifting capacity.
✔ Greater resistance in high mobility areas.
✔ More durable effect depending on concentration and cross-linking.
Of course, everything depends on indications, injection technique, and patient expectations.
What is the safety protocol for Dermafill® fillers?
Safety data can be found in the instructions for use included in each box, where you will find information on warnings and precautions, contraindications, and guidance intended for patients.
Dermafill® dermal fillers may be used as intradermal implants only by duly trained and qualified physicians or authorized staff, in compliance with national legislation.
How long does the treatment last?
Hyaluronic acid is then naturally resorbed by the body approximately 9 to 12 months after injection.
Which needle to choose for injection?
All our fillers are supplied with 27G needles.
27G is recommended for thicker, volumizing gels with high viscosity and deeper layers. It enables a smooth flow and good volume management.
30G is perfect for finer gels (skinboosters, mesotherapy, highly hydrating products) with better patient tolerance, especially in superficial or sensitive areas.
Application examples:
- Dermafill® Global X or Volume → preferably 27G
- Dermabooster® or skinboosters → 30G ideal
- Lip injections → 30G for more comfort except very dense gels
- Deep wrinkle correction → 27G recommended
Is hyaluronic acid injection painful?
Dermafill® products are injected using a very fine needle, making the injection almost painless. However, each person will experience their own sensations and local anesthesia may be applied by the physician.
How long to see the effects of hyaluronic acid?
The effects are immediate.
Why does Dermafill® contain no lidocaine?
Fillers containing lidocaine are often perceived as more comfortable. Nevertheless, it is important to remember that lidocaine does not act immediately: patients feel the first needle prick and the initial injections before anesthesia takes effect.
Our lidocaine-free fillers present several strategic advantages:
Total control for the practitioner, especially in sensitive areas (lips, dark circles) where patient feedback is essential.
Purer formulation without anesthetic excipients, suitable for allergic or sensitive patients.
Maximum flexibility: the physician chooses the anesthetic protocol (topical cream, local injection, or no anesthesia).
Fewer regulatory constraints in some countries where products containing lidocaine are subject to a different classification.
In summary: lidocaine-free fillers guarantee mastery, simplicity, and safety in all aesthetic medicine practices.
